'Gadgets' Related Gifts
As far as we can remember, until the early/mid 1990's 'Gadget' was a rarely used and unusual word, reserved for very tech-y items that men with beards and thick glasses would like. Perhaps it may have occasionally been used by one's nan to describe the TV remote, if she lived in a particularly technologically advanced house, in the 1980's. By no means though was it a part of the modern lexicon in the way it is now until the last 10 or 15 years. The term has broadened these days to include basically anything that could be seen as a vaguely, errr, well sort of useful and desirable sort of thing. You know what it means, and we've got some of it here; unusual gift ideas that either are designer gadgets themselves, or are related to gadgets.
